CTB1LLC, a boutique talent and placement company in Macapá, Brazil, seeks a Head of Credit Risk to shape strategy and build a scalable risk function for a fast-growing fintech.

You will own credit policy, portfolio P&L, and partner with Product, Data Science, and leadership to launch new credit products amid high growth.

Ideal candidates have launched credit products, managed large portfolios, and fluency in Portuguese preferred.

Qualificações

• Launched a new credit product and scaled it.
• Managed large-scale credit portfolio with P&L ownership.
• Experience managing multiple credit products concurrently.
• Strong technical fluency in underwriting, modeling, and data science.
• Portuguese fluency preferred; able to operate in high-growth environments.

Responsabilidades

• Own credit strategy, policy, portfolio performance, and credit P&L
• Identify opportunities to sustainably scale the existing credit business
• Partner closely with Product to design and launch new credit products
• Serve as a strategic counterpart to Data Science/modeling leadership
• Set direction in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment
• Build and develop a high-performing risk organization as the business scales

Head of Credit Risk

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, profitable fintech transforming how small businesses in Brazil access credit and working capital. The company has built a highly automated, data-driven credit platform and is entering its next phase of significant scale and product expansion.

The role:

• Own credit strategy, policy, portfolio performance, and credit P&L
• Identify opportunities to sustainably scale the existing credit business
• Partner closely with Product to design and launch new credit products
• Serve as a strategic counterpart to Data Science/modeling leadership
• Set direction in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment
• Build and develop a high-performing risk organization as the business scales

Ideal background:

• Launched a new credit product and successfully scaled it
• Managed a large-scale credit portfolio with meaningful P&L and policy ownership
• Experience managing multiple credit products simultaneously
• Strong technical fluency across underwriting, modeling, and data science
• First-principles thinker who can challenge conventional credit assumptions
• Proven ability to operate in high-growth environments with strategic ambiguity
• Strong track record of attracting and developing top talent
• Brazil / Portuguese fluency strongly preferred
