Regional Technology Head, Fragrance & Beauty LATAM – Your Future Role

You will work in our Sao Paulo offices, reporting to the Head of Global Fragrance Technology, leading a team of passionate scientists and fragrance experts. Your mission is to provide technical, analytical, and sensory support to our Commercial and Development teams in Latin America, contributing to delivering top-tier fragrance solutions and strengthening Givaudan’s market leadership.

Your main responsibilities include:

1. Represent the Science & Technology function in Latin America and serve as the primary contact for related topics.
2. Collaborate with regional leadership to identify, prioritize, and implement technology-driven initiatives.
3. Lead the Regional Technology Team in Sao Paulo, Mexico City, and Bogota to support regional growth.
4. Provide expert advice on Givaudan’s technology portfolio and promote its application with customers.
5. Support Perfume and Sensory Analysis activities across the region.
6. Align with global analytical and sensory best practices.
7. Research and propose innovative ways to combine technologies for new fragrance solutions.
8. Gather and analyze competitive intelligence in the region.
9. Represent Latin America on the Global Technology Leadership Team.
10. Promote and adhere to EHS guidelines and best practices.

Candidate Profile

We seek a professional with:

• A university degree in a relevant scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry.
• At least 10 years of R&D/Science & Technology experience in fragrances or FMCG industries, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role within multicultural and international settings.
• Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
• Excellent organizational, managerial, and communication skills.
• An action-oriented mindset with strong priority management and results focus.
• Robust business acumen, comfort with ambiguity, and a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to motivate and guide teams.
• High ethical standards and integrity.
