Who we’re looking for:
We seek an executive-level technology leader who is visionary, strategic, and passionate about innovation - without needing to be hands-on in coding.
As a CTO/Head of Engineering, you will guide our tech and product strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a culture of growth and servant leadership.
This is a hybrid role combining strategic leadership with hands-on involvement, with approximately 25–30% of the time dedicated to implementation and debugging, and the rest on system architecture, technical direction, and guiding internal teams.
Work directly with external vendors and partners to align on expectations and drive outcomes—this role does not involve formal vendor management but requires effective collaboration to ensure delivery meets our standards.
Why this role is unique: We are transitioning from in-house backend development to a third-party tech provider to enhance scalability, security, and performance while reducing bugs and maintenance overhead.
This strategic shift allows us to focus on front-end improvements, marketing experiments, and product innovation.
We need a leader excited about this transformation - someone who can refine product strategy, guide teams, and drive innovation rather than push for in-house backend development.

This role is full-time, requiring 35-40 hours per week. It is a fully remote contract position, with Independent Contractors responsible for their taxes and benefits. Each applicant is required to successfully complete a paid Trial Period before transitioning to this role.
