Modular Mining Systems, a division of Komatsu Mining Technology Solutions, is seeking a Hardware Technician Intern in Belo Horizonte. You will support maintenance, testing, and development of critical mining hardware systems and collaborate with engineers on innovative projects.

You will diagnose electronic boards, update software/firmware, assemble cables, and document repairs, gaining hands-on experience with advanced mining technology.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in a Technical Program in Electronics, Electrotechnics or Industrial Automation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of electronic measurement instruments.
• Strong problem-solving and detail orientation.
• Good written and verbal communication; curious and eager to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Support maintenance, testing, and development of mining hardware systems.
• Diagnose and repair electronic circuit boards and embedded hardware.
• Update software/firmware on onboard computers and comms equipment.
• Assemble, test, and validate cables and wiring harnesses.
• Document repair activities and prepare technical reports.

What You'll Do

As a Hardware Technician Intern, you'll support the maintenance, testing, and development of critical mining technology systems, including:

• Diagnosing and repairing electronic circuit boards and embedded hardware
• Performing software and firmware updates on onboard computers and communication equipment
• Assembling, testing, and validating cables and wiring harnesses
• Using diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to troubleshoot hardware issues
• Preparing technical reports and documenting repair activities
• Collaborating with engineering and support teams on technical projects
• Contributing ideas that improve product quality, reliability, and efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a Technical Program in:

Nice to Have

• Technical English (S1, S2, or S3 level)
• Experience with electronics repair or hardware troubleshooting
