Position Overview(Contract or Fulltime Hire)
Dream Payments isseeking a strategic Guidewire integration partner to help ustransition our existing on-premise Dream Payments Claims Payoutaccelerator kit, to a cloud compatible accelerator kit. The objectiveis to make our Dream Payments Claims Payout accelerator kit availableto existing Guidewire Cloud-Native customers. With the insuranceindustry rapidly adopting Guidewire Cloud-native solutions, we aim toalign with Guidewire’s recommended cloud integration strategy toenhance scalability, reduce maintenance costs, and improve time tomarket.
You will possess:
- Guidewire Cloud Expertise – Experience in on-premise tocloud migrations, Guidewire Integration Framework, Cloud CodeAssessments and DevConnect certifications.
- Proven TrackRecord – Case studies demonstrating successful cloud-based Guidewireintegrations for enterprise insurers across US and Canada.
- Time-to-Market & Methodology – A structured approach with anestimated timeline, risk mitigation strategy, and best practices.
- Value Proposition & Pricing – Transparent cost structures andlong-term / ongoing support models for cloud-based integrations.
- Post-Implementation Support – Clarity around the ongoingsupport, maintenance, and training services provided.
Responsibilities:
Cloud Migration Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with the Dream Payments team to define a clearroadmap for transitioning the existing on-premise Claims PayoutAccelerator Kit to a cloud-compatible solution.
- Develop andexecute a cloud migration strategy that aligns with Guidewire's bestpractices and cloud-native solutions, ensuring scalability and highperformance.
- Work closely with the Dream Payments product and technicalteams to integrate our existing Claims Payout Accelerator Kit withGuidewire Cloud-Native platforms, ensuring seamless data exchange andfunctionality.
- Customize and configure the accelerator kit toensure compatibility with Guidewire’s cloud architecture andintegration standards.
Scalability &Performance Optimization
- Ensure that the cloud-basedaccelerator kit is optimized for scalability and high availability ina cloud environment.
- Conduct performance testing andoptimization to meet industry standards and deliver enhanced userexperience.
Enhance Time to Market
- Assist in reducing time to market by providing technicalguidance on cloud deployments, leveraging Guidewire’s cloud solutionsfor faster implementation.
- Identify and implementimprovements that streamline deployment and integration processes forfaster time to value.
Maintenance andCost Efficiency
- Assist in identifying opportunitiesfor reducing ongoing maintenance costs, including providingrecommendations on automation and cloud-based management tools.
- Ensure the solution is future-proof and easy to maintain byadhering to cloud-native principles that minimize operationaloverhead.
Collaboration and StakeholderCommunication
- Act as the primary technical liaisonbetween Dream Payments, Guidewire, and other key stakeholdersthroughout the integration process.
- Provide regular updatesand clear communication on progress, timelines, and any potentialrisks or issues that may arise during the migration.
Training and Knowledge Transfer
- Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams regarding thecloud-based solution, including any new tools, processes, ortechnologies introduced during the migration.
- Train DreamPayments’ technical staff on maintaining and managing thecloud-compatible Claims Payout Accelerator Kit.
Post-Deployment Support
- Offerpost-deployment support to ensure the smooth functioning of the newcloud-based solution, addressing any issues or improvements that mayarise post-launch.
- Provide guidance on monitoring,troubleshooting, and optimizing the solution for continued success ina cloud-native environment.
Complianceand Security
- Ensure the cloud solution adheres toindustry standards for data security, privacy, and regulatorycompliance, particularly relevant in the insurance and financialservices sectors.
- Collaborate with security and complianceteams to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of customer data.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in PolicyCenter,BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter Guidewire development and integrations
- Experience in implementing Guidewire applicationcustomizations, integrations, and system upgrades.
- Experiencewith certifying and packaging applications to be submitted into theGuidewire Marketplace for cloud-native deployments.
- Knowledgeof insurance industry workflows, particularly policy administration,billing, and claims management.
- Prior experience inAgile/Scrum development environments is highly preferred.
- Guidewire Certified Professional or Ace certifications arehighly preferred, but not a must.
- Experience with GuidewireDigital suite (CustomerEngage, ProducerEngage) and/or GuidewireAnalytics.
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker,Kubernetes) and Guidewire cloud-native development practices.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite(PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, InsuranceNow).
- Proficiency in GOSU programming language and Guidewireintegration tools.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SOA architecture, RESTful/SOAP webservices, and API integration.
- Expertise in Java, SQL, andrelated technologies (J2EE, Spring, Hibernate).
- Familiaritywith cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems(Git, Jenkins, etc.).
