What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor, interpret, and distribute regulatory updates, laws, and guidance affecting business units
- Assess the impact of pending legislation and regulations on organizational operations
- Partner with internal departments to implement new regulatory and legislative changes
- Conduct research to respond to regulatory questions related to processes and policies
- Support the development and review of compliance policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory research and interpretation
- 3-5 years of experience in Medicaid Managed Care or Special Needs Plans
- Demonstrated success with regulatory agencies on audits, reporting, and compliance
- Strong project management skills and effective communication abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency with research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw
- Experience in translating complex regulations into clear operational guidance
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
