Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst for AI training. This role focuses on applying compliance frameworks to shape AI outputs and datasets.

This remote hourly contract offers flexible hours (10–40 hours/week). You will generate and validate training data, and provide precise feedback to improve model quality in SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST contexts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS or similar frameworks.
• Ability to read policy documents, audit reports, and control documentation.

As a GRC Analyst, your real-world experience with compliance frameworks, risk assessments, and security controls will directly shape how AI systems reason about these critical domains. This isn't a traditional compliance role. You'll be working at the intersection of your professional expertise and cutting-edge AI development — reviewing scenarios, evaluating AI outputs, and helping create the high-quality datasets that frontier models are trained on.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management
• Solid familiarity with one or more major frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar
• Comfortable reading and interpreting policy documents, audit reports, and control documentation
• Detail-oriented with strong written reasoning skills
• Able to work independently and deliver consistent, high-quality output

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
• Background in information security, internal audit, or enterprise risk management
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP
