Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior Backend Developer (Go) in Brazil to build high-performance backend systems for web and mobile apps.

You will design scalable RESTful APIs, work with microservices and event-driven architectures, and collaborate with Frontend, Product, QA, Architecture, and DevOps to deliver reliable solutions. Experience with Kotlin, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and cloud platforms is valued.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Golang Back-End Developer Sênior based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to build and evolve high-performance backend solutions supporting web and mobile applications. You will work primarily with Go, designing scalable APIs, integrations, and services within modern distributed architectures. The position combines microservices, event-driven systems, messaging, cloud technologies, and strong engineering practices. You will contribute to solutions where performance, availability, security, and reliability are critical. Working closely with Frontend, Product, QA, Architecture, and DevOps teams, you will help shape technical decisions and delivery strategies. Accountabilities:

• Build, evolve, and maintain BFF (Backend for Frontend) solutions supporting web and mobile applications.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and integrations between internal and external systems.
• Integrate systems through APIs, messaging platforms, and event-driven architectures, ensuring reliable and scalable communication.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of microservices and distributed architectures.
• Ensure applications meet high standards for performance, scalability, availability, security, reliability, and overall quality.
• Apply software development best practices, design patterns, and sound architectural principles throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with Frontend, Product, QA, Architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver cohesive technical solutions.
• Support and implement CI/CD processes, pipeline automation, monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting across production environments.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, identify root causes, and implement continuous improvements to prevent recurring issues.
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and the continuous evolution of engineering practices.
• Participate actively in technical discussions, effort estimations, solution design, and delivery planning.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate solid professional experience in Back-End development using Go (Golang).
• Have practical experience with Kotlin and its application in backend development.
• Possess strong knowledge of building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Have experience designing and developing microservices and distributed systems.
• Demonstrate experience integrating systems through APIs, messaging technologies, and event-driven architectures.
• Have practical knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including data modeling and query optimization.
• Be proficient with Git or comparable source code versioning tools and collaborative development workflows.
• Have experience with unit testing, integration testing, and software quality practices.
• Possess knowledge of CI/CD practices and automated deployment pipelines.
• Have experience with application monitoring, observability, log analysis, and production troubleshooting.
• Understand cloud computing concepts and containerized application environments.
• Have hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies.
• Possess knowledge of application and API security principles.
• Be familiar with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a collaborative and proactive approach.
• Communicate effectively and work comfortably with multidisciplinary teams and technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Kubernetes is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other major cloud platforms is a plus.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is desirable.
• Experience working with high-volume environments and business-critical systems is an additional advantage.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar platforms is desirable.
• Previous experience in financial services, fintech, or payment-related environments is a plus.
