Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Golang Mid to Senior Engineer at Ardan Labs. Depending on the project, the ideal Engineer will be responsible for developing efficient and reliable software solutions, optimizing tech stack performance, and refactoring code. They will collaborate with teams to bridge knowledge gaps, increase development velocity, and achieve project goals effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Go applications.
2. Design and optimize database schemas and queries for scalability and performance.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
4. Contribute to deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
6. Participate in architectural discussions and implement best practices.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of professional software development experience with at least 3+ years using Golang.
2. Strong expertise in production-level troubleshooting and debugging.
3. Experience developing microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
4. Experience with Distributed Systems Design.
5. Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) beyond basic queries.
6. Exposure to DevOps and deployment pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD) with a proactive approach to infrastructure-related tasks.
7. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
8. Experience working on medium-to-large scaled distributed systems in production.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• High engagement, self-starter with a problem-solving mindset.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with finance, Crypto/Blockchain.
• Experience with Gaming.
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
