Hexagon seeks a Global Services Platform Owner to steward the Discovery App and AKMS, ensuring governance, stability, and global adoption across APAC and EMEA, with expansion to USCA and LATAM.

Position Summary

The Global Services Platform Owner is responsible for the administration, governance, support, enhancement, and continuous improvement of Hexagon's Discovery App and Accelerated Knowledge Management System (AKMS). These platforms support hardware configuration, project delivery, operational procedures, and service execution across APAC and EMEA. The next phase is to expand their deployment to USCA and LATAM.

This role serves as the single point of ownership for both platforms, ensuring technical stability, data integrity, governance, and controlled enhancement delivery while enabling global adoption and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate combines strong Microsoft Power Platform expertise with business analysis, data governance, and stakeholder management skills to bridge technical solutions with operational business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Ownership & Governance:

• Serve as the primary owner of the Discovery App and AKMS platforms.
• Manage platform configuration, administration, and overall health.
• Maintain Dev, Test, and Production environments.
• Administer user access, security roles, and permissions.
• Develop and enforce platform governance standards and best practices.
• Coordinate platform roadmaps and release schedules.
• Ensure platform scalability, stability, and performance.

Application Development & Support:

• Design, develop, and enhance Microsoft Power Apps solutions.
• Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows.
• Troubleshoot Power Apps, Power Fx, Dataverse, and Power Automate issues.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain technical documentation and system architecture.

AKMS & Discovery App Administration:

• Manage Discovery App configuration and business rules.
• Administer AKMS content structure, taxonomy, and metadata.
• Maintain platform integrations between Discovery App and AKMS.
• Ensure alignment between operational processes and system configuration.
• Support regional content updates while maintaining global standards.

Data Governance & Quality:

• Maintain Dataverse data models and relationships.
• Monitor and improve data quality across both platforms.
• Establish data standards and naming conventions.
• Manage taxonomy and master data structures.
• Validate reporting accuracy and platform data integrity.
• Support audit and compliance requirements.

Enhancement & Release Management:

• Manage enhancement requests from global stakeholders.
• Facilitate requirements gathering and business analysis.
• Prioritize enhancements through established governance processes.
• Coordinate testing, deployment, and release management.
• Ensure changes align with global business standards.

Business Process & Configuration Support:

• Translate operational business requirements into platform enhancements.
• Support hardware configuration workflows and delivery processes.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Service & Support, and Delivery teams.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Reporting & Analytics:

• Support Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
• Validate reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Develop operational metrics to measure platform performance and adoption.
• Monitor usage trends and identify opportunities to improve user experience.

Training & User Enablement:

• Develop training materials and user documentation.
• Deliver end-user and administrator training.
• Provide ongoing support to global users.
• Act as the primary escalation point for platform-related issues.
• Promote adoption through communication and stakeholder engagement.
