Your impact

In our AGCO journey towards Global Product Master data centricity and digitalization, the necessity for maintaining high quality and actionable product data is a key success factor.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-savvy professional to join our Global Product Data Steward team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, completeness, and consistency of global product data across our systems. You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our Global Product Hierarchy, supporting data governance initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold data integrity and drive business value.

Collaborate with regional data product owners to define and implement global data quality standards and processes.

• Partner with business teams to identify, investigate, and resolve product data quality issues within defined service level agreements (SLAs).

• Work with IT to define requirements for a product Master Data Management (MDM) solution and automate manual data stewardship tasks.

• Support the development and deployment of automation pipelines to streamline data stewardship activities.

• Monitor and report on data quality, completeness, and usability metrics to key stakeholders.

• Conduct research using internal databases and external sources to validate and enrich product data.

• Evaluate the impact of proposed data changes and ensure alignment with business needs.

• Serve as a point of contact for data-related inquiries from the user community.

• Maintain robust governance practices to ensure master data integrity across all consuming systems.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Intermediate level experience in a data stewardship, data science, or related data management role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis tools).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with MDM solutions and enterprise data management platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and timeline-driven.

• Experience in the agriculture industry or knowledge of agricultural products.

• Exposure to data governance frameworks and data quality tools.
