Job Description

Global Investment Research Division Overview

Global Investment Research (GIR) provides investment recommendations through fundamental research and analysis of companies, industries, markets, and economies. GIR analysts assist clients, including mutual funds, hedge funds, and pension funds, in achieving superior returns with innovative investment insights.

Position

The GIR Business Analyst supports global equity research teams by compiling, analyzing, and summarizing data. The role involves developing financial and industry models and contributing to fundamental equity research reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop industry and company knowledge
• Build and maintain financial models
• Interpret data and analyze market, economic, and industry trends
• Contribute to investment idea generation and execution
• Write reports on covered companies
• Update reports, marketing materials, and valuation sheets
• Respond to ad hoc requests from clients, sales, and traders
