Your Impact:

The Equity One Delta Engineering Team at Goldman Sachs designs and maintains critical trading systems globally. With the Americas as the primary hub, the focus is on markets in the US, LatAm, and Canada. Join our engineering teams that build massively scalable software and systems, architect low latency infrastructure solutions, proactively guard against cyber threats, and use AI and other cutting edges of technology.

As a developer on the Equity One Delta team, you'll be instrumental in building and refining both the user-facing and backend components of our trading systems, optimizing workflows for a range of equity services, from high-touch to low-touch execution. Your work will directly contribute to critical trading events like IPOs and index rebalances, ensuring a reliable and scalable infrastructure is in place to support these high-visibility activities.

This team is responsible for continuously evolving the platform architecture to meet the dynamic demands of various global business lines, emphasizing rapid and efficient software deployment. We need inquisitive minds with strong problem-solving abilities to challenge existing processes and design optimized workflows.

How will you fulfill your potential?

• Apply best practices to engineer highly reliable and scalable systems to support the growing demands of the Equities Trading business;
• Bring an inquisitive mind and strong problem solving skills to question status quo processes and architect optimized workflows;
• Deliver value by architecting scalable solutions that are primed for reuse across the revenue generating divisions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of industry experience programming in a compiled language (e.g. C, C++, Java);
• Clear understanding of algorithms and data structures;
• Familiarity with core programming concepts and techniques (e.g. concurrency, memory management);
• Comfortable with standard SDLC tools, e.g. Git, build pipelines etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field;
• Experience developing in a Linux or UNIX environment;
• Experience in modern Java architectures;
• Experience in frontend JavaScript frameworks;
• Experience with several of the following: Real-time systems, Large-scale, distributed systems, Operating systems design, Compilers, Modern web stacks, Functional programming, Test engineering.
