About the position:

We are seeking a Junior Operations Manager to lead and optimize logistics operations across warehouses and transportation in multiple Distribution Centers (DCs), supporting B2B and B2C demands. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and service excellence in a dynamic, collaborative environment involving various internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes supporting strategic logistics projects and occasional travel between different DCs.

Main responsibilities:

1. Manage warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring efficiency in receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational costs while maintaining or improving service levels.
3. Monitor and analyze performance indicators (KPIs), such as cycle time, inventory accuracy, and logistics costs, proposing corrective actions as needed.
4. Lead operational teams, promoting continuous development and ensuring compliance with safety and quality policies.
5. Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners.
6. Collaborate with commercial, planning, and IT departments to align logistics operations with business needs.
7. Manage planning and execution of continuous improvement projects to foster innovation and operational efficiency.
8. Support strategic logistics network projects, contributing to the redesign and enhancement of the distribution network.
9. Demonstrate flexibility and availability for occasional travel between DCs as required.

Requirements:

1. Higher education in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
2. Previous experience in logistics operations, preferably in B2B and B2C environments.
3. Knowledge in warehouse management, transportation, and inventory control.
4. Skills in data analysis and performance metrics.
5. Good communication, leadership, and ability to work under pressure.
6. Availability to operate across multiple DCs and undertake occasional travel.

Differentials:

1. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
2. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
3. Fluency in English.
4. Certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
5. Experience with strategic logistics network projects.
