KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Purpose:

TMICC seeks a passionate and experienced Packaging Manager to lead innovative packaging projects for the Ice Cream business in LATAM. This role involves driving growth through superior packaging solutions, managing high-impact projects, and collaborating with diverse teams to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to create best-in-class packaging solutions for our new and existing product portfolio aligned with brand strategy for local markets.
  • Develop and implement regional packaging strategies aligned with business priorities and consumer needs.
  • Create a transparent and creative environment for talent development and cross-country collaboration.
  • Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Suppliers to enhance consumer experience and explore packaging innovations.
  • Conduct technical analysis of new packaging designs and provide feedback on design viability, identifying solutions for technical issues.
  • Lead and manage packaging programs focusing on innovation, sustainability, and value chain optimization.
  • Set and monitor objectives and key results (OKRs) for the packaging team.
  • Build strong networks with other packaging managers and the packaging ecosystem to share knowledge and innovations.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in packaging development within consumer goods companies, with expertise in technologies like flexible, rigid, and corrugated packaging.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and creative skills.
