[Fully Remote] Frontend, Full-Stack Software Engineer (React, Typescript, Python)

About the Role

We're looking for a Frontend Engineer with full-stack capabilities who has many years of experience in our chosen tech stack :

• TypeScript / React / React Native
• Python / FastAPI

We are looking for a high-energy technical visionary who can craft extraordinary user experiences that delight our millions of users worldwide. As our Frontend Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing the interfaces that serve as the primary touchpoint between our products and our 5 million global users. You'll transform complex ideas into scalable, intuitive, beautiful, and responsive user interfaces that make our products a joy to use.

Your expertise in frontend technologies will be crucial as you build scalable UI components, optimize performance, and ensure pixel-perfect implementation across all devices. While your primary focus will be on the user-facing aspects of our products, your full-stack capabilities will allow you to collaborate effectively with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow throughout the application. By creating reusable UI libraries, implementing state-of-the-art design systems, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in web and mobile interfaces, you'll directly shape how millions of people interact with our products every single day.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications using React, React Native, and TypeScript
• Architect and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems that ensure consistency across all Oleve products
• Optimize frontend performance to ensure lightning-fast load times and smooth interactions for all users
• Collaborate with designers to transform Figma mockups into pixel-perfect implementations that bring our product vision to life
• Build and integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and state management
• Implement comprehensive frontend testing strategies to maintain high-quality code and prevent regressions
• Identify and resolve UI / UX issues proactively through monitoring tools and user feedback
• Lead frontend architecture decisions that balance user experience, developer velocity, and technical sustainability
• Stay current with frontend best practices, tools, and frameworks to continuously improve our tech stack
• Contribute to full-stack feature development when needed, leveraging Python / FastAPI knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent proficiency demonstrated through professional experience.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture patterns, state management solutions, and responsive design principles
• Experience with frontend build tools, module bundlers, and frontend optimization techniques
• Eye for design details and commitment to delivering pixel-perfect implementations
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks and methodologies
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and how to effectively integrate them into frontend applications
• Familiarity with Python (Flask / FastAPI) and MongoDB to implement full-stack features or collaborate effectively with backend teams
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), with an ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Bonus : Experience with animation libraries, WebGL, or other advanced frontend technologies
• Bonus : Experience with frontend performance optimization and accessibility standards
