AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Full Stack Technical Lead to resolve production issues on a live, high-traffic hiring product. You will pair deep technical ownership across Java, Python, and React with the ability to mentor engineers through ambiguity, merging and deploying code with minimal guidance.

This role blends hands-on engineering with real client impact, requiring senior-level leadership across multiple concurrent projects while maintaining system reliability under pressure.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Primary backend stack: Java/Spring Boot.
• Secondary backend stack: Django/Python.
• Frontend: React.
• Experience with build and deployment processes.
• Experience with Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena.
• Senior-level with ownership across multiple projects.
• Ability to lead and onboard other engineers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Full Stack Technical Lead to resolve production issues on a live, high-traffic hiring product. You will pair deep technical ownership across Java, Python, and React with the ability to lead and mentor engineers through ambiguity. This role blends hands-on engineering with real client impact, keeping complex systems reliable under pressure.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Analyze and resolve production issues, with particular emphasis on ongoing, in-progress hiring events.
• Partner closely with client-facing teams to triage and address incoming support tickets.
• Drive timely issue resolution to meet established SLAs.
• Monitor production systems and respond quickly to alerts or performance degradation ("going red").
• Support architecture changes and system integrations that may impact hiring events.
• Maintain and update event logic in response to changes in dependencies and upstream systems.

MUST HAVES

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Java/Spring Boot as the primary backend stack (Event Management Backend, Lobby Backend) — first priority.
• Django/Python as a secondary backend stack (Event Management Backend, Lobby Backend) — second priority.
• React for frontend development (Event Management Frontend, Lobby Frontend, IRL Frontend, Jobseeker Frontend).
• Build and deployment experience.
• Experience with at least one of the following: Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena.
• Senior-level engineer able to ramp up quickly and assume ownership across multiple concurrent projects.
• High level of ownership and autonomy, including taking initiative and owning tasks—specifically merging and deploying code—without requiring hand-holding.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.
• Technical leadership experience, including the ability to lead, shepherd, and onboard other engineers on the team's behalf (senior engineering experience alone is not sufficient for this Tech Lead role).
• Demonstrated experience overseeing or coordinating the work of others.
• Clear and concise communication.
• Ability to manage and navigate ambiguity.
• Prioritization and strategic thinking.
• Ability to use data to troubleshoot production issues.

NICE TO HAVES

• Product management experience partnering with GTM teams and engineers to support prioritization.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf.
