We are in search of a talented Full Stack Developer with expertise in Ruby to join our team and improve web platforms that enrich learning experiences for millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features and services using Ruby on Rails, Google Cloud Platform services, and APIs
• Write clean, readable, maintainable, and testable code while improving and implementing new features
• Create and execute unit and integration tests
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, primarily engineers from the customer side
• Review code and create technical documentation
  
  
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software development
• Knowledge of Ruby or a similar programming language
• Proficiency in algorithms, design patterns, and solid understanding of OOP/OOD
• Background in databases with expertise in SQL, PostgreSQL, or Google App Engine
• Familiarity with web application development and the capability to work independently on loosely defined tasks
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure
• English proficiency at a B1+ level

• Understanding of front-end technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and SEO Tools
• Showcase of knowledge in internal tools or systems used by Google
