Bluelight is a leading software consultancy seeking a senior backend engineer to design and develop high-performance services. You will work on low-latency RESTful APIs, secure multi-tenant architectures, and real-time data solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS.

The role demands collaboration across frontend and backend teams, rigorous testing, and ownership of deliverables. You should have 5+ years of backend development, experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, and strong SQL skills.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software development (backend-focused).
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB including Row-Level Security.
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing migrations (node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices including integration tests against real databases and fault injection.
• Experience with AI coding assistants in daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance.
• Solid understanding of full stack development with ability to contribute to frontend when needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused)
• Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS

• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate)
• Professional experience with React
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed
