Bluelight is seeking a senior backend developer to design and build high-performance APIs in a fast-paced consultancy environment. You’ll work with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and AWS to deliver scalable, secure, multi-tenant applications for diverse clients.

The role emphasizes testing, CI/CD, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Applicants should have 5+ years of backend expertise, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to overlap US business hours.

Qualificações

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience with multi-tenant architecture and secure environments.
• Strong testing practices including integration tests against real databases.
• Experience with containerized services on AWS Fargate/ECS.
• CI/CD and cloud deployment experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused)
• Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate)
• Professional experience with React
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems
• Ability to overlap US business hours
