Frontend Engineer (Contract, 6–9 Months) – 100% Remote in Brazil | English Fluency Required

Frontend Engineer to join our team on a temporary contract (6–9 months). This is a 100% remote opportunity for professionals based in Brazil who are fluent in English.

You’ll be contributing to the frontend of one of the largest global online communities and discussion platforms, used daily by millions of people worldwide. The platform is a key space where conversations, culture, and communities thrive, making it one of the most influential players in the social media and digital engagement market.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, maintain, and support all features of the platform’s frontend
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Collaborate with the team on future features and visual design possibilities
• Manage assigned tasks in Jira, ensuring clear communication on progress, questions, and risks
• Contribute to technical discussions and share best practices with a global, remote team

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, primarily focused on building user-facing web applications at scale using TypeScript
• Solid knowledge of GraphQL and HTTP basics
• Backend experience (service development, databases, Kubernetes) and ability to design maintainable APIs is a strong plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver projects on time
• Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) to effectively collaborate with remote teams and convey complex technical topics
• Type: Temporary (6–9 months)

Frontend Developer

Using React, Node.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend & backend design.

Qualifications
