Front End Developer - React (Remote)

ITTConnect is seeking a React Front End Developer (with Java experience) to work remotely for a client in the US. This is a potentially long-term position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services with over 300,000 team members in nearly 50 countries.

Job location : Remote, work from home, anywhere in Brazil.

As a Senior Engineer, you will build distributed data processing solutions and highly loaded database solutions for various business cases, including reporting, product analytics, marketing optimization, and financial reporting. You will contribute as part of a self-organized team of experienced engineers working in a challenging, innovative environment for our client, creating the foundation for decision-making at a company dealing with billions of events per day.

Responsibilities :

1. Obtain tasks from the project lead or Team Lead (TL).
2. Ensure that assigned areas are delivered within set deadlines and meet quality objectives.
3. Provide estimations, agree on task durations with the manager, and contribute to the project plan of the assigned area.
4. Initiate and conduct code reviews, create code standards, conventions, and guidelines.
5. Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product.
6. Continuously improve professional skills.
7. Collaborate with other teams.

Requirements :

1. 5+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer (React).
2. Experience with React, RESTful APIs, and SQL.
3. Proficiency in object-oriented programming using Java.
4. Ability to organize and document solutions.
5. A passion for streamlining systems and processes to make complex tasks trivial.
6. Effective communication (oral & written), collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
9. Experience working in an Agile environment.
