Qualificações

We're Hiring: Founding Data Engineer (Python, GCP, AI)

Project: AI-powered CRE Lead & Marketing Automation | Distressed Property Lead Marketplace | Strategic AI Real Estate SaaS

Type: Remote | Freelance/Contract (6 months to start)

Start Date: Immediate (Month 1)

Team: You’ll be joining a small and agile team and collaborating closely with a Data QA Analyst.

About the Role

Are you a Data Engineer with a passion for building scalable data systems, automating data flows, and working with cutting-edge AI tools? We’re launching a brand-new Real Estate SaaS platform powered by AI to revolutionize how distressed property leads are discovered, qualified, and automated for CRE teams.

As our Founding Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for laying the technical foundations of our data infrastructure. From developing ingestion pipelines to leveraging AI for enriched data processing — you’ll play a critical role in the success of our product from Day 1.

What You’ll Be Doing

Build & Maintain Scalable Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data ingestion pipelines using Python and GCP tools.

Data Infrastructure Setup: Define and implement our core data architecture from scratch, including automation, observability, and security best practices.

Work with AI Models: Integrate and test AI models for lead scoring, enrichment, and marketing automation tasks.

API Integrations: Connect with third-party data providers (e.g., MLS databases, CRMs, marketing platforms) and ensure clean, reliable ingestion.

Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product leadership and (starting in Month 2) our Junior Data QA Analyst to align on business and data needs.

Own and Optimize: Drive continuous improvements to our data platform — from ingestion to transformation — and ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.

Minimum Requirements

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of experience in data engineering, with proven projects built from scratch or in startup-like environments.

Expertise in Python for data workflows, API handling, and automation.

Hands-on GCP experience, especially with BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, or Dataflow.

Solid understanding of AI/ML workflows and experience integrating AI models into pipelines (classification, enrichment, prediction).

Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.

Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or dbt is a strong plus.

Excellent communication and documentation skills — especially important in a remote setup.

Startup mindset: autonomous, proactive, and resourceful.

Strong cummunication skills in english.

Bonus Points

Experience in real estate data, marketing analytics, or CRE.

Familiarity with data QA or mentoring junior analysts/engineers.

Experience with LLMs or AI agents for operational automation.
