CAPS - The CAPS service is dedicated to welcoming and supporting patients with severe mental disorders through comprehensive care aimed at encouraging and assisting users in their pursuit of autonomy, access to work, leisure, exercise of civil rights, and strengthening family and community ties.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Address and treat communication disorders within the scope of mental health.
2. Assess and monitor users through activities involving oral, written, gestural, or bodily language.
3. Participate in case discussions, mentoring activities, and the development of individualized therapeutic projects.
4. Facilitate spaces for expression, enabling the production of subjectivity and social value.
5. Coordinate with the psychosocial care network and primary health care, ensuring intersectoral articulation to act comprehensively, facilitate access, and promote greater social integration, autonomy, and user protagonism.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Complete higher education in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active registration with the professional council.
