Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sr. Fiscal Analyst located in Belo Horizonte, MG. The Sr. Fiscal Analyst will be responsible for evaluating fiscal policy, preparing tax reports, handling excise duties, and analyzing tax information. This role involves ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and providing insights based on financial data analysis.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Fiscal Policy and Tax regulations
• Experience in Tax Reporting and handling Excise duties
• Excellent Analytical Skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Tax-related processes and compliance
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience in the trading industry is an advantage
• Experience with NetSuite (Oracle) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Calculation and collection of direct and indirect taxes
• Analysis of billing processes and issuance of invoices
• Ensuring compliance with tax obligations
• Participation in the company’s tax planning activities
• Providing technical support to the team on legislation and tax-related matters
• Assisting clients in resolving inquiries and addressing outstanding issues
• Monitoring changes in legislation and reporting those that impact the company; tracking legal and tax developments to support business compliance
• Preparation and regular updating of monthly statements and control reports
• Supporting audit processes by providing required information
• Ensuring accuracy in fiscal closing and tax calculations
• Calculating municipal, state, and federal taxes
• Performing necessary tax system configurations related to billing and receivables
• Responsible for implementing municipal, state, and federal ancillary obligations and issuing government-mandated reports (e.g., SINTEGRA, SPED, DCTF, DIRF)
• Reviewing tax credit claims and verifying the accuracy of tax calculations
