What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee all post-award administration duties in assigned departments, including processing and monitoring grants and contracts
- Maintain knowledge of funding policies and assist with grant administration to ensure compliance with award guidelines
- Serve as a liaison for stakeholders involved in grant management, including other university offices and external partners
- Prepare and submit financial documents, including specialized invoicing and expense reports for awarded funds
- Meet regularly with Principal Investigators to review financial reports and resolve issues related to grant expenditures

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge of grant management, financial controls, and related policies
- Experience in preparing financial reports and documentation for grant funding
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders in the grant administration process
- Familiarity with Uniform Guidance and university grant policies

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with SAP Concur and financial management systems
- Proven track record of managing complex grants and contracts
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting and compliance in a higher education setting
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial documentation
- Ability to develop best management practices for grant administration
