We're hiring a Finance Assistant to support a fast-growing eCommerce brand that’s been making waves across the U.S. with its smart, science-backed products. They're scaling quickly, moving fast, and need someone who thrives in organized chaos (read: startup life). You’ll be handling the numbers behind the scenes to keep things tight, tidy, and ready.

This is a remote, project-based, hourly position with flexible hours. Perfect for someone looking to level up with a U.S.-based company that actually values operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

Own the Books: Keep day-to-day bookkeeping in check using QuickBooks Online — clean, clear, and audit-ready.
Build & Tweak Budgets: Support with budget creation, cash flow forecasting, and monthly financial planning.
Reconcile Like a Pro: Match bank statements, Shopify payouts, and payment processor reports to ensure nothing slips through.
Get Nerdy with Sheets: Create and manage financial trackers and reports in Google Sheets (formulas are your friends).
Support Ad Hoc Projects: Help with reports, expense analysis, and whatever else pops up on the finance side.


What We’re Looking For:

Finance Experience: You’ve worked in a finance, bookkeeping, or assistant role before — ideally with eComm or startups.
QuickBooks Savvy: You're comfortable managing transactions, categorizing expenses, and generating reports.
Google Sheets Wizardry: You know how to use advanced formulas and conditional formatting to make magic happen.
Extreme Attention to Detail: You notice when a decimal is off or a date doesn’t line up — and you fix it fast.
English Communication: You can clearly explain your insights, ask the right questions, and document your work.
Proactive & Organized: You don’t wait to be told what’s next. You take initiative and love a clean, updated system.
