Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Location: Pune, India

Position Overview

The Finance Business Partner plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between financial insights and strategic decision-making within the organization. This role collaborates closely with various business units or manufacturing plants, providing expert financial analysis, actionable insights, and strategic guidance to drive performance, profitability, and growth. By aligning financial goals with overall business objectives, the Finance Business Partner contributes to informed decision-making and supports the achievement of both short-term and long-term goals.

Primary Responsibilities

A Finance Business Partner is the link between the finance function and the broader business operations. The role involves analyzing financial data, interpreting trends, and providing strategic recommendations to influence business outcomes. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate complex financial concepts clearly, and contribute to the development of financial strategies. Insights and guidance provided will empower leaders to make informed decisions that drive sustainable growth and enhance shareholder value.

Role Scope: Supports 1-2 Global Business Segments / Sales Leaders OR Regional Manufacturing / Supply Chain Management

  • Collaborate closely with business unit or manufacturing leaders to understand their financial needs, challenges, and objectives.
  • Analyze financial performance, key metrics, and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Create financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to evaluate potential investments and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
  • Support cross-functional projects that involve financial considerations and ensure their successful implementation.
  • Demonstrate Leadership mindset regarding Financial Strategic execution, including focus on NWC and Cashflow.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor on financial matters.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
Minimum Requirement
  • At least 8 years of related work experience
  • Bachelor's or University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Or Master's degree with 5 years of related work experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree, CMA or CPA
