Baker Hughes in Macaé, Brazil is seeking a Cementing Field Specialist to supervise and deliver cementing services on-site.

You will maintain cementing units, execute jobs, plan casing cementing, and work with crews to prepare equipment, while ensuring safety and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates hold a technical degree, offshore Oil & Gas experience, active registration with CFT/CREA, and fluent Portuguese; English preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and prepare casing hardware.
• Assist checks and load products and equipment.
• Schedule cementing operations and maintain equipment.
• Coordinate with crew to prep equipment for pumping.
• Perform all cementing job calculations.
• Maintain professional relationship with company rep.

Partner with the best

As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising and delivering services operation across wellsite in Brazil. You will primarily be responsible for the preparation, following the procedures and perform execution of cementing operations to ensure that the work is carried out efficiently and safely to both the Client’s and Company’s satisfaction.

As a Cementing Field Specialist, you could be responsible for:

• Maintaining cementing unit, ready for pressure testing and cementing all time
• Executing cementing job and pressure testing
• Planning and preparing for casing cementing, plug back cementing and any miscellaneous pumping activities
• Planning and preparing casing hardware
• Assisting in performing checks and loading of necessary products and equipment required for the operations
• Scheduling cementing operations; including operations and maintenance of equipment
• Working with crew on location to prepare equipment and products for any pumping operation assigned to us
• Doing all cementing job calculations required
• Maintains an open and business-like relationship with the company representative

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a Technical Degree in a related field
• Maintain a regular and active professional registration with the CFT or CREA
• Have experience offshore in Oil & Gas services
• Demonstrate strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions
• Have experience motivating the team.
• Be fluent in Portuguese and preferable in English, with excellent all-round communication skills
• Have some knowledge on how to operate safely and flawlessly cement units
