Summary

The professional will be responsible for carrying out technical inspections and mechanical maintenance on critical drilling equipment, including Top Side, BOP (Blowout Preventer) and Riser.

The candidate must have knowledge of mechanical/hydraulic systems in order to guarantee the integrity, safety and compliance of the equipment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform visual, dimensional and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections - such as Liquid Penetrant (LP) and Magnetic Particles (PM) - on components, welds and structures of Top Side, BOP and Riser equipment.

  • Performing preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance, including assembly, disassembly and repair of mechanical and hydraulic systems.

  • Draw up detailed and accurate technical reports on the inspections carried out, documenting results, non-conformities and recommendations for repair.

  • Interpreting technical drawings, hydraulic diagrams, manufacturers' manuals and inspection procedures.

  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in strict compliance with technical standards (API, ISO) and the company's Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures.

  • Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to plan and optimize maintenance and inspection schedules.

Required Qualifications

Education: Technical Diploma in Mechanics, Electromechanics or equivalent. Engineering degree would be a plus.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. The offshore experience would be a plus.

Availability for international travel.

Mandatory Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated proficiency with technical concepts. Basic understanding of how the team integrates with others. Ability to use communication skills to exchange moderately complex information, typically within own team.

Valid and active ABENDI Liquid Penetrant (LP-N2-G) and Magnetic Particle (PM-N2-S-Y) certification,

Active CFT

Passport

Intermediate English.

Valid CBSP and THUET

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

Valid and active ABENDI certification Magnetic Particles (PM-N2-ES).

Thickness Measurement (US-N1-ME) (US-N2-S2.1).

FBTS SNQC-IS welding level 1 and 2 certification.
Rope access certification (IRATA).
Knowledge of API standards (e.g. API 16A, API 16D).
Valid lift platform license
