The Field Service Technician at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for being part of the Service Resident team, handling technical service inquiries and requests within the IVD laboratory at a dedicated customer site. The role involves executing all dispatched service tickets related to POV demands, following governance standards with excellence.

This position is based in Curitiba and will be remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be part of the Field Service Team, reporting to the Tech Service Leader, providing frontline support by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and aim to build a world-class Field Services organization, read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment, providing excellent service and technical training to customers.
• Maintain accurate service logs, order repair parts, adhere to cycle times, and utilize business systems like ServiceMax, SharePoint, KPI tools, and Service Call Planning.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, recognizing their needs, and assist in training newer Field Service Engineers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Associate degree (preferably in technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering, or related fields)
• At least 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, or instrumentation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to generate reports
• Ownership of Install Base management
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record over the last three years

It would be a plus if you also possess:

• Over 3 years of advanced troubleshooting experience
• Ability to develop positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Advanced English proficiency
