Position Overview

The Field Service Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supporting the Service Resident team by handling technical service inquiries and requests inside the IVD laboratory of a dedicated customer site. This includes executing all service tickets related to POV demands following the governance standards required for this role.

This position is part of the Field Service Operations team based in Curitiba and will be remote. Our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will report to the Tech Service Leader and provide frontline support by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and aim to build a world-class Field Services organization, read on.

Key Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, troubleshoot, install, validate, perform preventive maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment, providing excellent service and technical training to customers.
• Maintain accurate service logs, order parts, and adhere to cycle times using systems like ServiceMax, SharePoint, and KPI tools.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, addressing their needs, and assist in training new Field Service Engineers.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical field such as biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering, or related areas.
• At least 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electronic, robotic, or instrumentation equipment.
• Strong communication skills and report generation abilities.
• Ownership of Install Base management.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record over the past three years.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of advanced troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to develop positive customer relationships.
• Proficiency in English at an advanced level.
