Your role and responsibilities

Mission: As a Field Service Engineer, your mission is to ensure the efficient and safe operation of maritime and port systems and equipment by providing specialized technical support, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through innovative and sustainable solutions.Responsibilities:Inspection and Maintenance:Perform medium-complexity preventive and corrective maintenance and inspections on systems and equipment, including disassembly, analysis, repairs, and calibration.Fault Identification and Resolution:Identify failures, request corrective actions, support troubleshooting, and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.Operation and Organization:Operate maintenance equipment and tools, ensuring the availability and organization of necessary materials.Documentation and Reporting:Document failure modes, investigate root causes, prepare service documentation, and issue field test reports.Support and Control:Provide support to commercial and administrative areas, manage field events, and ensure the quality of instruments.Communication and Validation:Report activity progress to management, participate in the validation of maintenance procedures, and formalize job completion with the customer.

Qualifications for the role

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, preferably in Electrical or Automation Engineering. (Active CREA registration required)
• Previous field experience with frequency inverter maintenance.
• Availability for frequent national and international travel.
• Experience with ABB Drives, protection systems (relays and circuit breakers), or offshore operations is desirable.
• Language: Advanced English is required for reading, writing, and conversation.
