Qualifications
- Preferably, a graduate of the Industrial Management or Engineering course.
- Experience in Facility Management services such as property engineering, security, housekeeping, pollution control/environmental safety, or similar work experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of administrative tasks, specifically in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, housekeeping, and repairs & maintenance.
- Knowledgeable about the department's day-to-day operations.
- Must possess excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Must be competent and physically and mentally fit to perform duties.
- Possess good moral character and a positive attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficient in MS Office.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; flexible and hardworking.
- Familiar with facility management and licensing processes.
- Knowledge of ISO standards or Quality Management systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervision
- Direct operations and ensure efficiency are met.
- Ensure that performance standards such as repairs & maintenance, cleanliness, security, and orderliness of hospital facilities and vehicles are delivered.
- Review and analyze daily activities of units such as property engineering, housekeeping, safety & security, and waste & pollution control. Implement and monitor initiatives and strategies in these divisions. Ensure compliance with PES, security, safety, and pollution control guidelines.
- Delegate tasks and provide specific job assignments to section heads, guiding them in managing their teams effectively.
- Represent the unit in meetings, including management and other relevant meetings.
- Initiate activities to assist staff in resolving issues arising from daily transactions, in line with existing policies and procedures.
