Job Summary

The AGCO Global Demand and Planning team has an exciting opportunity for a high-impact Global Demand & Planning Analyst to join its team in delivering extraordinary results to our farmers.

This candidate will be responsible for organizing, analyzing, and making decisions in the inventory planning process for AGCO’s global parts distribution network. Specifically, the Forecasting & Planning Specialist will work to improve parts service fill rate levels across a portfolio of brands/products that AGCO dealers sell and promote. This role requires balancing targeted fill rates with inventory objectives and is suited for an individual who is analytically proficient and capable of making inferences from various data sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Purchasing, Customer Care, and Logistics to optimize operating costs, inventory value, and customer service levels.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Production facilities, New Product Launch Specialists, Purchasing, and Procurement to ensure timely availability of new products supporting launch dates.
  • Identify and incorporate product knowledge, dealer profiles, seasonality, and regional/local conditions to enhance inventory planning capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Forecast & Planning to enhance parts availability and service.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual results and accomplishments.
  • Manage and manipulate data using Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc.
