The External Communications Senior Consultant is a dynamic and collaborative individual contributor who supports corporate positioning efforts in Brazil, helping to build the external and internal reputation of the company as a global information and insights company that makes trust possible in global commerce. The person facilitates strong media relations, supports crisis/incident work, and helps develop and coordinate the implementation of insights and issues-based campaign activity aligned with the wider in-region business strategy. They also collaborate with regional internal communicators on strategic communication plans that help inform and inspire TransUnion associate performance, as well as communications designed to position the company as an employer of choice with prospective hires and in the broader community. They will also develop select customer communications that impact our corporate reputation.
The role reports to and works with the Director, Corporate & Americas Communications to deliver work originated both in-region and at an enterprise level. They are a member of the Corporate Affairs & Communications team globally and work closely with the Global Brand Management & Marketing teams. They have a dotted reporting line to the Senior Manager of Marketing Communications for Brazil. The role includes working with the wider Marketing team (Brazil, International, and Global) to support and deploy demand generation and brand awareness activities. This role may also work with the International Social Media team and will draw on the wider international writing and design capabilities.
The role collaborates with wider enterprise teams to promote our mission and strategy and the value we bring to the markets we serve.
The role involves working with senior leadership teams and functional heads to develop the TransUnion Brazil corporate story, sharing and learning from best practices and wider enterprise corporate messaging.
The professional will assist other disciplines and wider functions, help manage external agencies and budgets.
This is a hybrid position involving both virtual work and in-person presence at an assigned TU office location at least two days a week.
