Events and Market Research Analyst – Food Service

River Global is an international marketing and business consulting firm headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, with teams in Chile, Colombia, and Peru. We specialize in providing services to small and medium-sized companies, governmental and non-governmental organizations looking to expand or establish their businesses in Latin America and the United States.

We are seeking an Events and Market Research Analyst – Food Service to join our dynamic team. This position is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about international marketing and business development, with a specific focus on the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and coordinate local and international trade shows and events related to the food service sector.
• Conduct detailed market research and prepare monthly industry reports on the food and beverage sector.
• Establish and maintain contact with distributors, restaurants, and other food service industry players to identify business opportunities.
• Schedule meetings with executives from prospective companies, government authorities, federations, and industry associations.
• Assist with Food & Beverage Missions, including report writing, calls, and follow-ups with buyers.
• Maintain ongoing communication with importers and distributors to ensure successful partnerships and collaborations.

Qualifications:

• Advanced English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in event organization and market research in the food service sector is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
