Who will you be working with?

The Oracle ERP OTC Senior Analyst is part of the Global Business Applications team. The role is for a protagonist individual contributor, that will support the design, implementation and delivery of ERP related programs, plus DevOps support for our growing sites across Latin America. The analyst will foresee third party and business stakeholders’ relationships and seeks coordination and alignment of the initiatives across multiple P&Ls and strategies.

How will you make a difference?

As an Oracle Order to Cash (OTC) expert you will be responsible for overseeing Oracle's manufacturing processes within the Oracle E-Business Suite on all Wabtec sites in Latin America.

You will have the opportunity to work on regional and international projects, together with other Wabtec teams and experts.

This role involves working closely with functional areas to understand their processes and requirements, defining the setup to meet business needs, providing ongoing support and optimization.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelors or Technical degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networks or related STEM courses
  • Experience on Oracle ERP application support
  • Strong knowledge in Oracle EBS OTC modules, 5+ years’ experience
  • Experience working on ERP teams of large enterprises and/or ERP implementations, preferably on the application management team or application support team
  • Strong initiative to research and learn emerging technologies on a fast pacing changing environment
  • Quick learner and independent worker who is adaptable, eager, flexible, and organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/language skills required to include the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, and compile and present information clearly
  • Good presentation skills and be able to pitch programs meetings and status updates for senior leadership
  • Analytical and reasoning ability for solving problems and good judgment for complex decision-making
  • Capable of planning and organizing work and processes; ability to self-direct multiple projects and meet deadlines

Desired qualifications

  • Generalist on Buy to Pay (BTP) and/or Plan to Manufacturing (PTM) Oracle EBS modules, and Mastersaf localization apps.
  • Project management background with Traditional and / or Agile approach, Scrum and Product Management experience preferred
  • Oracle certifications
  • Intermediate Spanish

What will your typical day look like?

  • Perform application support of ERP related systems (Oracle EBS), including localization applications for importation/exportation, electronic invoicing and financial/fiscal reporting on all Wabtec sites in Latin America.
  • Elicit requirements with functional areas, design solution and prepare and/or validate technical documentation, perform or validate setup and configurations.
  • Work on Oracle EBS implementation/expansion projects, working on design, development, testing, validation and hyper care phases being a point of contact both for key users and third-party on the project.
  • Co-ordination with third party vendors and Global Teams for issue resolution.
  • Understand and work from functional and technical specifications, plus ability to generate and validate system design specifications.
  • Be part of product management team for ERP, committing on continuous improvement of our DevOps process on this context.
  • Perform L2/L3 application support when needed, working according to defined SLAs of IT and the business
  • Responsible for maintenance related activities i.e. bug fixes, defect triaging, incident resolution, feature development, validation and training.
  • Create or update knowledge base and documentation (technical or / and for end users).
  • Follow IT governance and processes, standards and tools accordingly.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement
  • Support business critical applications and respond to business users in timely manner
  • Drive discussions both in Portuguese and English with end users, directors and support stakeholders
