Lever, Inc. is seeking an Especialista em Digital Workplace – Líder COE in Brazil to lead the Architecture Center of Excellence. This fully remote leadership role focuses on guiding architects, driving governance, and shaping scalable, secure solutions for international clients.

You will mentor teams, evolve architecture practices, and contribute to proposals and capacity planning. Fluency in English or Spanish is required, with senior-level architecture credentials preferred.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Especialista em Digital Workplace – Líder COE based in Brazil.

This is a remote leadership opportunity for a technology professional who will serve as a technical and people reference within an Architecture Center of Excellence.
You will help develop architects and technical professionals while strengthening architectural governance, standards, and engineering practices.
The role combines deep expertise in solution and software architecture with people leadership, capacity planning, and client-facing collaboration.
You will guide architectural decisions involving cloud, microservices, APIs, integrations, security, scalability, and modern technology practices.
The position also includes supporting technical proposals, effort estimation, team composition, and customer discussions.
You will contribute to the evolution of architecture practices, including the responsible adoption of AI and GenAI solutions.
This role is suited to a strategic, technically strong leader who can connect business needs with practical, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions.

Accountabilities

• Lead the technical and career development of professionals within the Architecture discipline.

• Act as a mentor and technical reference for architects and professionals developing their architecture capabilities.

• Identify competency gaps and establish development, training, certification, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Support talent retention and the continuous evolution of technical capabilities.

• Define, evolve, and disseminate architecture standards, frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.

• Ensure consistency and quality across architectural solutions and facilitate technical discussions and architecture decisions.

• Establish and maintain reference architectures, architectural standards, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

• Promote best practices covering security, scalability, resilience, observability, and solution sustainability.

• Organize and lead the Architecture Center of Excellence, ensuring appropriate capabilities and capacity to meet business and project demands.

• Build and monitor the technical roadmap for the discipline and identify relevant technology trends and opportunities.

• Support the evolution and adoption of AI-enabled internal solutions and tools.

• Contribute to capacity and availability analysis, professional allocation, and technical team sizing based on seniority, skills, and demand complexity.

• Work closely with client-facing teams to understand account requirements and align architectural capabilities with customer needs.

• Contribute technically to proposals and pricing activities, including effort estimation, seniority requirements, and team composition.

• Participate in technical discussions with customers and stakeholders, balancing technical requirements, business objectives, costs, and implementation feasibility.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience in Solution Architecture and Software Architecture.

• Strong knowledge of Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), APIs, and systems integration.

• Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

• Ability to design scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available solutions.

• Experience with architecture governance, Reference Architectures, and ADRs.

• Knowledge of legacy-system modernization and technology transformation initiatives.

• Proven experience leading, developing, and mentoring technical professionals and teams.

• Ability to establish technical standards, guide architectural decisions, and conduct governance processes.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across different organizational levels and with client-facing teams.

• Demonstrated experience building and pricing technical proposals, including effort estimation, seniority requirements, and team composition.

• Experience applying AI to architecture, including technical trade-off analysis, AI/GenAI solution architecture, RAG, AI-agent architectures, and integration with AI models.

• Understanding of security, scalability, and governance considerations for AI-enabled solutions.

• Advanced English or Spanish, with the ability to participate effectively in professional and technical discussions.

• Certifications in architecture or cloud platforms, such as TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP, are advantageous.

• Experience with Data Architecture, presales, consulting, or customer‑facing solution architecture is a plus.

• Knowledge of FinOps, DevSecOps, and observability practices is desirable.

• Strong strategic thinking, technical depth, communication, influence, and people‑leadership capabilities.
