BairesDev is seeking an Erlang Engineer to design and build highly concurrent, fault-tolerant systems using BEAM VM and OTP. You will contribute to real-time infrastructure that scales across distributed nodes and ensures high availability.

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on functional programming.
• Proven expertise in building highly concurrent and fault-tolerant systems using Erlang.
• Deep understanding of the OTP framework and the BEAM virtual machine.
• Strong background in developing messaging or real-time communication infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed, soft real-time applications using Erlang and the OTP framework.
• Implement highly concurrent systems utilizing lightweight processes and asynchronous message passing.
• Build and maintain supervisor trees to ensure system self-healing and robust fault tolerance.
• Optimize system performance and scalability across distributed BEAM nodes and clusters.
• Manage the full development lifecycle of mission-critical messaging or telecom-heritage infrastructure.
• Apply hot code reloading techniques to update production systems with zero downtime.

As an Erlang Engineer, you will build highly concurrent and fault-tolerant systems designed for massive scale. You will leverage the BEAM VM and OTP framework to create resilient, real-time infrastructure that maintains high availability even under extreme load.
