For This Position You Will Be Responsible For

  • Manage the Automation System solution business in EPS (Energy and Process Industries) Market. Responsible for DCS business developing, and other products, in EPS market. Value adding sales, understanding customer needs, differentiating in DCS market with Performance Solution offering. Developing value proposition together with BU.
  • Support head of EPS to define and implement EPS Growth strategy. Define actions for EPS business strategy implementation.
  • Responsible for the direct and indirect sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales target.
  • Secures opportunities to quote on requirements and obtain orders from existing and potential customers.
  • Perform research and identify new EPS potential customers and new opportunities.
  • Define and guarantee the budget of Sales and provide sales forecast/budget for assigned accounts including competitor analysis.
  • Analyze DCS technical enquiry, define scope and Sales Solution together Product home.
  • Work together AS Service organization to guarantee EPS Service business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with new product launches.
  • Stay up to date with competitor position and activities.
  • Organize visits to current and potential customers.
  • Submit short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated targets.
  • Retain and intensify long-term EPS customer relationships with established accounts.
  • Work complexity and business impact: Works independently to complete given assignments, dealing with local partners that have some impact on the business.
  • Ensure the compliance with all HSE, legal and other Valmet Rules and procedures.

In addition, to succeed in this position, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering: Automation, Electrical or related area.
  • Solid experience in Automation Sales.
  • Long experience in automation sales development (DCS and process solution).
  • Experience in negotiating contract terms with customer.
  • High level of Legal process analysis, discussion and contract negotiation.
  • Solid knowledge of DCS architecture analysis, Process Automation system knowhow and application.
  • Experience in scope and price definition of DCS solution/packages.
  • Ability to implement sales strategies of Automation Solutions.
  • Complex Solution sales skills and Value adding sales capabilities.
  • Deep understand of business processes and products development.
  • Fluent English (mandatory).
  • Native Portuguese (mandatory).
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills in our multilevel customer organization.
  • Availability to move to Sorocaba/SP region.
  • Availability to travel.
