Overview

We have embarked on a programme to implement a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) as part of the NHS digital health ongoing initiative across the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (NWAHC). The collaborative is made up of three acute hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney: James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH), Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH), and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH).

Responsibilities
  • As EPRHR Business Partner Lead, shape the future of workforces across JPUH, NNUH & QEH aligned with the EPR Programme.
  • Lead the HR BP team and provide professional HR expertise to influence and manage the delivery of all Workforce elements of the NWAHC EPR Programme.
  • Strategically plan, lead and advise on HR aspects for the EPR Programme and evaluate the impact of workplace changes for Trust HR Leads.
  • Manage realisation of identified workforce-related benefits by providing professional advice within a legal context on consultation and engagement requirements, including leadership of those aspects.
Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent relevant experience
  • Chartered MCIPD or equivalent

Experience

  • Significant experience, working at a senior management level as an HR specialist
  • Specialist knowledge of current employment law
  • Previous experience of leading HR related projects
  • Significant experience of change management from an HR perspective
  • Significant experience of partnership working, including consultation and negotiations within a unionised environment

Desirable

  • A developed understanding of effective HR Practice in a hospital environment

Skills

  • Ability to draft well written cases/reports and business proposals/change documents
  • Able to identify, interpret and analyse complex information such as legal decisions/case law
  • Experience of managing staff, inspiring confidence and facilitating their development
  • Knowledge, experience and understanding of undertaking TUPE/Staff restructure consultations
