Job summary

ENGIE Brasil Energia is seeking a dedicated professional to ensure regulatory compliance and strengthen community relationships in Paracatu, Minas Gerais. The role involves hands-on environmental licensing work, on-site inspections, and collaboration with authorities, contractors, and internal teams.

Successful candidates will have a relevant degree, familiarity with licensing regulations, and a proactive, communicative approach to engage with diverse stakeholders and support social projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Biology, Geography, Business Administration, Architecture, Economics, Sociology, or Law).
  • Basic knowledge of environmental licensing, regulations, and Brazilian environmental legislation.
  • Familiarity with geoprocessing systems and office software tools (word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations).
  • Valid Category B driver’s license and willingness to travel between company assets.
  • Self-driven, proactive, with clear and objective communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders including communities, suppliers, public agencies, and internal teams.
  • Postgraduate degree in Project Management or Environmental Licensing and basic English proficiency are valuable differentiators.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental licensing requirements and social aspects of company projects.
  • Conduct on-site technical inspections and participate in meetings with licensing authorities, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor environmental program schedules to maintain Operational Licenses.
  • Represent the Company before municipalities, government agencies, NGOs, regional committees, and local communities.
  • Support the implementation of social projects and investments, promoting environmental and social awareness.
  • Assess non-conformity reports and propose preventive and corrective actions.
  • Review and validate measurement reports, technical reports, and field campaigns related to environmental and social activities.

Your Responsibilities
