We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Academic Coordinator who wants to help build an exceptional educational model and grow with us. You will play a key role in shaping the academic vision, supporting our teachers, and ensuring excellent learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for our team of teachers
• Conduct hiring, onboarding, training, and teacher evaluations
• Design and lead professional development sessions and workshops
• Establish and maintain GT’s methodological and pedagogical guidelines
• Administer and manage Needs Analysis (placement testing) for new students
• Oversee the review and development of teaching materials
• Continuously improve the academic quality and learning experience
• Act as a strategic voice in planning and implementing improvements across the teaching team
• Foster a positive and collaborative culture with both students and teachers

Requirements

• CELTA (Cambridge) certification or a degree in Languages or Education
• Prior experience as an English teacher
• Availability for full-time, remote work
• Comfort with digital tools and remote instruction

Nice to Have

• DELTA (Cambridge) or equivalent certifications
• Previous experience in academic coordination or management roles
• Experience in material design, curriculum planning, or teacher mentorship
• Familiarity with platforms such as Linguahouse, Google Workspace, and other EdTech tools
• Background in reputable language schools like Cultura Inglesa, Thomas Jefferson, CNA, Brasas, etc.
