Intuition Machines builds enterprise security products using AI/ML. We apply our research to systems that serve hundreds of millions of people, with a team distributed around the world. Our best-known product is the hCaptcha security suite. We focus on high agency, small teams, and rapid iteration.

The Dashboard team develops tools, infrastructure, and features essential to our product and machine learning capabilities. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead solutions impacting user risk analysis and mitigation, iterating and developing features to enhance customer insight and usability of the hCaptcha platform.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, grow, and support a team of product-focused engineers responsible for applications, tools, and infrastructure that drive our security products
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, stakeholders, and domain experts to develop solutions for fraud detection and mitigation
• Mentor engineers to develop their skills and knowledge, enabling informed decision-making
• Participate in code reviews, architecture design, and maintain high-quality standards

What you will learn:

• Work on a system impacting hundreds of millions of users daily and collaborate with major clients
• Gain knowledge in security, labeling, and machine learning through product features and knowledge sharing
• Use the latest technologies to design scalable solutions and monitoring tools for user and customer insights

Qualifications:

• 8+ years in software engineering with a focus on product development
• 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams
• Extensive experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Python
• Hands-on experience with web technologies like Canvas, WebGL, and WebWorkers
• Proven leadership in building high-performing, engaged, and possibly geo-distributed teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with edge computing platforms (Cloudflare Workers, Fastly, Akamai)
• Familiarity with Rust, Go, or C++
• Understanding of distributed systems and scaled operations
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
