Security Engineer at BairesDev

We are looking for Security Engineers to join our Development team and participate in various projects with multicultural teams distributed worldwide. We seek proactive individuals who are team players, passionate about programming, and focused on delivering the best experience to the end user. The role involves facing numerous technical challenges, utilizing current technologies, and engaging in the mobile world, web applications, devices, and more.

What You Will Do:

1. Recognize current and emerging technological issues, such as security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats.
2. Develop technical solutions and new security tools to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate tasks.
3. Create comprehensive cybersecurity designs and architectures.
4. Lead incident response activities and investigate breaches.
5. Source and implement new security solutions to enhance organizational protection.
6. Understand complex technical issues and manage them in a fast-paced environment.
7. Maintain security-related software and hardware.
8. Document security certifications.

What We Are Looking For:

1. 5+ years of experience with network security, system security, and monitoring tools.
2. Knowledge of security products like firewalls, URL filtering, virus protection, etc.
3. Experience with data security and encryption.
4. Experience with data protection and backups.
5. Ability to write and review technical policies.
6. Exposure to Linux and/or Windows OS, coding, and networks.
7. Advanced English proficiency.
