Your future role

Could you be the full-time Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) Engineer in São Paulo we’re looking for? Take on a new challenge and apply your analytical and engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and solution-oriented teammates.

You'll lead and coordinate activities from the Tender phase to the Operational phase, ensuring our solutions are reliable, maintainable, and available. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Digital & Integrated Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Tenders, Sourcing, Installation, Warranty & Maintenance), optimize RAM performance, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of conducting RAM-related activities, ensuring the correct application of standard processes, and making design recommendations, as well as performing complex solution architecture analyses.

We’ll look to you for:

1. Carrying out RAM-related activities in line with Quality Cost Delivery (QCD) objectives
2. Ensuring adherence to Alstom standard RAM Process, Methods, Tools
3. Making design recommendations based on RAM studies
4. Analyzing solution architectures and performing reliability and lifetime predictions
5. Supporting teams to integrate products and systems in projects
6. Leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and reliability growth activities

1. Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
2. Experience or understanding of Railway Signaling or high RAMS requirement fields
3. Knowledge of reliability calculations & modeling
4. Familiarity with maintenance plan preparation and maintenance tasks
5. A certification in a relevant engineering field
6. Great problem-solving skills
7. Proven leadership and negotiation abilities
