A Snapshot of Your Day

The Process Gas Cooler specialist provides expertise and supports development, standardization, and cost reduction projects. The focus is on evaluating product design in centrifugal compressor components and package solutions in the field of energy transition and decarbonization of industry.

Expansion of engineering tasks in the dimensions of "Material Cost Productivity" (Cost-out), "Value-added Measures" (Engineering Productivity), Employee Training, Concept Design.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Supporting the product strategy in relation to emerging markets for energy transition and decarbonization with solutions for package design, standardization, and documentation. The strategic focus will be on Process gas cooler thermodynamic design and calculation.
  • Being technically detail-oriented with skills in advanced analysis, solving complex problems, decision making, managing multiple projects, and meeting customer deadlines.
  • Participating in workshops with portfolio management and generating ideas for design-to-cost and improvement measures.
  • Supporting non-conformance investigations, performing 5WHY root cause analysis, and helping engineering teams develop corrective actions for customer projects.
  • Assisting bid management in assessing non-standard project requirements, designing new concepts, and implementing risk mitigation measures during the bidding phase.
  • Developing and leading learning programs for other departments on specialist topics, including process gas piping calculation as a differential.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field.
  • Expertise in turbo compressor systems, components, and international standards in the oil and gas sector.
  • Expertise in the thermodynamic design and calculation of process gas piping coolers, with knowledge of standards such as TEMA, AD2000, ASME, and DIN.
  • Solid understanding of technical and dynamic mechanics.
  • Experience with Aspen HYSYS is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of business software (e.g., NX, Teamcenter) and turbomachinery construction technology related to package design and integration for centrifugal compressors is an advantage.
