Do you have underwriting Energy Property experience in large accounts? Do you have a good relationship with brokers and clients? Then you might be the right person for our Underwriting Corporate Solutions Team!

About the Role:

Based in São Paulo, the role involves underwriting Energy accounts, managing broker and client relationships, and engaging with internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

• Growing the business and maintaining strong client and broker relationships.
• Analyzing coverage, exposures, wordings, premiums, and insurability of energy risks (power plants, pipelines, mining, oil & gas facilities, petrochemicals), prepare quotations, structure programs, fac reinsurance, and offer proposals for leading or following business (new and renewals).
• Developing strategic relationships with brokers and clients to ensure proper documentation and grow the business.
• Coordinating cross-selling opportunities within Corporate Solutions.
• Participating in special projects and contributing to team operations.
• Ensuring thorough documentation and clear communication with clients and brokers.
• Building and maintaining knowledge of Brazil insurance market in respects of wording, insurance law and regulation as well as brokers and competitors.

About You:

You've got strong interpersonal skills and communicate well. You're curious, always asking questions and searching for solutions, have collaborative and cross functional skills. New ideas excite you and you're keen to explore new experiences. Growth drives you.

Essentials:

• Bachelor's degree required (engineering, administration, economics, etc).
• At least 5 years of underwriting experience, focused on Energy Property accounts.
• General knowledge of and/or exposure to other insurance disciplines, i.e., contract wording, claims, risk surveys.
• Negotiation skills, good network in Brazilian insurance market.
• Good English and Spanish skills.

Nice to Have:

• Global Programs experience.
• Proficient MS-Office.
• Availability for eventual business trips.
