Envision Energy, a global green technology group, seeks an Environmental Specialist to lead regulatory compliance and on-site environmental management for wind-energy projects in Brazil. The role focuses on adhering to local EHS standards, managing contractor activities, and mitigating environmental risk.

You will monitor field operations, supervise waste handling, and coordinate with management and regulators.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in Environmental, Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience in Environmental management within wind farm, construction, or energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of environmental management systems, effective communication, risk assessment, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with local EHS regulations and standards.
• Experience supervising contractors on-site.
• Advanced English for multinational environments.
• Availability to work on-site and travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure project activities follow local, state, and federal environmental regulations and company EHS standards.
• Identify potential environmental hazards before and during project execution.
• Monitor contractor activities and enforce EHS requirements.
• Conduct routine field checks to evaluate air, water, noise, waste management practices and other EHS topics.
• Oversee the segregation, storage, transport, and final disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Lead incident reporting and support investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented, focused on environmental events.
• Promote environmental awareness through toolbox talks and on-site training.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and compliance reports for management, customer and regulatory agencies (when applicable).
• Support emergency preparedness, including drills and response coordination.

Key Responsibilities
